Amanda Munice
Licensed Music Together® Center Director, Registered Music Together Teacher, Certification Level 2
After growing up in this area herself, Center Director Amanda Munice is thrilled to be bringing the joy of Music Together to some of her favorite towns in Monmouth County! She is a graduate of the Performing Arts Program at Red Bank Regional High School, where she was a vocal music and drama major. Amanda continued her education at Wagner College as a student in their prestigious musical theater program. After receiving a B.A in Theater/Speech, she then continued on to recevive a Master's Degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Early Childhood development.
Before finding Music Together, Amanda spent eight years as the director of a successful children's theater program, which offered after school classes and a summer day camp to a diverse population of elementary age students. Shortly after opening Manda's Music Together (now Music Together Coastal Melodies), Amanda returned to the Music Together Worldwide headquarters to receive her Certification Level 1 for Music Together teaching mastery under the direction of Lili Levinowitz, PhD, Director of Research and Co-Author of the Music Together program in September 2014. She then returned there once again in August of 2018 to receive her Certification Level 2 training.
In addition to running Coastal Melodies, Amanda is proud to be inspiring her young students' creativity and self-expression each and every day as the art teacher at Strathmore Elementary School in Matawan. While she has played many roles on stage throughout her musical theater career, her favorite roles of all time are "mama" to Music Together alumni Mariella and "wife" to Justin!

Joy Migala
Registered Music Together Teacher
Joy is absolutely thrilled to be part of the Coastal Melodies family! She has been singing since the age of 4 when her father would accompany her on guitar singing at church sermons. Continuing her musical journey, Joy participated in choir, small vocal jazz ensembles, solo vocal gigs, and received private voice instruction from grade school through college. She studied Vocal Jazz Performance (and Women's Studies) at Kutztown University. She was lucky enough to study private jazz voice with Grammy-nominated vocalist Janet Lawson. While living in Southern New Jersey, she sang with the Greater South Jersey Chorus for several semesters and performed solos in their Artist's Showcase and Cabaret.
In addition to music, Joy is a self-taught jewelry artist. She sells her one-of-a-kind jewelry at local shops and vendor events and facilitates jewelry workshops through her business, Whimsical Witch. She is also a trained birth doula and Reiki Level II practitioner.
Joy lives in an old farmhouse at the Jersey Shore with her husband, two daughters, a really fluffy grey cat, and a fish.
